If you read my main blog you will know that talk about headaches quite often. Because let’s face it, they suck. I’m not going to have a pity party though because I know full well it could be so much worse. It could be one of those migraine-like affairs that forces me to sleep as the only method of escape. This is the type that can be placated with medication and a head strip. I haven’t resorted to taking any opioid painkillers for a while so I have even been blessed with the pleasant fuzzy feeling a first dose can give you… this is manageable.
A Homecoming
I am so happy for my neighbour, her other half has been in hospital with Covid19 for over a month, including two weeks in Intensive care. But she just needs to have some oxygen delivered and then they will arrange transportation for him to come home. Possibly still today but more likely tomorrow.
This is the closest that Covid has come to us and it is truly frightening if someone as fit and strong as he is could nearly die from it. On Monday we are having our first jabs, so a step closer to feeling a bit safer.
